AGV Solution in 3C Electronics Industry

01 Application Background

The customer is a world-renowned PCB manufacturer, and its main products are widely used in communication electronic products, consumer 

electronics and computer products, as well as automotive and industrial control and other fields.


The project base has a four-story comprehensive production plant, which includes multiple three-dimensional warehouses, 40+ production 

lines and a number of logistics machinery and equipment.

The production process of PCB products is various, and a large number of automated hardware devices have been introduced. The use of a 

large number of devices also requires more operation and maintenance personnel to carry out troubleshooting, which affects the production 

efficiency of enterprises, and the labor cost remains high.

In order to help enterprises realize digital operation and maintenance, Wiiss Technologies built an intelligent digital twin platform for this workshop 

construction project.



02 Information access, building a smart data center


Based on the access to the smart logistics system in the factory, all logistics-related equipment is integrated into the digital twin platform for unified 

management and control, and the warehousing and logistics information is visualized.

Multi-dimensional data presentation and analysis, integrating information such as equipment utilization rate, outbound times, equipment operating 

status, alarm statistics, etc., recording specific data within a unit time period, dynamically analyzing the operating status of the workshop, and 

displaying intelligent charts to create a factory Combat command center.


03 Equipment monitoring, real-time observation of working status


Monitor the dynamic status of equipment, and observe tasks such as vertical warehouses, line-side warehouses, AGVs, and hoists on the platform.

Warehousing: Understand the number of times of warehouse entry and exit, storage environment, storage rate, etc., so that managers can arrange 

tasks for replenishment or clearance.

Logistics: Understand the operating route of AGV and hoist, power status, number of handling, alarm information, etc., so as to facilitate operation 

and maintenance troubleshooting and timely processing.


04 Alarm information, quick troubleshooting


Monitor the number and route of logistics equipment at different nodes, display the task status and specific alarm information of the current logistics 

equipment, and facilitate operation and maintenance to locate and quickly troubleshoot when a failure occurs.

Classify and process the alarm information to facilitate the screening and screening of operation and maintenance, and solve problems with higher 

priority in a timely manner.

Support viewing of historical alarm information, statistical analysis, and optimize logistics flow lines to reduce equipment failure frequency.

05 Digital operation and maintenance, creating a "black light factory"


The improvement of the factory's digital capabilities can realize the transformation from a white light factory operated by multiple people to a black light 

unmanned factory.

Based on data, we can continuously discover problems, promote iterative optimization, improve the utilization rate of automation equipment, reduce 

operation and maintenance costs, maintenance time, reduce unplanned downtime, and increase output value.


06 Functional value


Reduce costs: reduce the number of operation and maintenance personnel and reduce labor costs.

Efficiency improvement: Factory automation is fully realized, which greatly reduces the abnormal failure rate, ensures production continuity, and 

improves production efficiency.

Management optimization: By integrating data and displaying management indicators graphically, problems in production and operation can be 

reflected as soon as possible, manual statistics at all levels can be eliminated, and management response time can be shortened.

In general, the application of digital twin technology is an important means to promote the transformation of manufacturing factories. The 

establishment and application of the digital twin platform can provide more scientific, accurate and accurate data support and analysis for the 

manufacturing industry, helping enterprises achieve sustainable development and intelligent upgrading.
